An extended period of moderate to heavy rain for most of the morning today. Some areas are likely to see at least some flooding. This afternoon new thunderstorms are expected to develop. Those could be severe, especially if we get some sun this afternoon. Keep an eye on the weather and be careful driving in the heavy downpours.
