Severe storms are heading towards Jeffersonville and should arrive in the next hour. The main threat high straight line winds and torrential rain. Hail and small tornadoes are possible, however unlikely.

Severe Weather?
It's possible that we could have severe storms overnight into the early morning hours. While the chances have diminished some it is still a good idea to keep an eye on the weather overnight.
Hmmm....
This was posted to the mayor's FB page. Funny, I thought jobs and entertainment with in the city that we live would lead to a higher quality of life.
Sounds like an excuse for having an administration that has lacked on development.

Rain Approaching; Storms Tonight
Moderate to heavy rain is approaching the area and will linger for several hours this morning.
Then this evening or later tonight strong storms will approach the area again. While they won't be as strong as what happened in Oklahoma last night, they will still be capable of producing high winds, hail, and tornadoes. Also flash flooding will be a risk. Keep an eye and ear out for the weather today and tonight.
